Marie's most recent work has focused on architectural and cityscape images, using High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR) to maximize the dynamic range of a scene, then tone mapping and stylizing that image, which allows for the artist's creative expression. The artist prints her images using Epson Stylus Photo printers (9900 and 4900) which utilize archival pigment inks to produce archival prints which will last over 200 years. Images are printed on Epson Exhibition Canvas Matte or Epson Velvet Fine Art paper which offers a unique museum quality feel. All canvas prints are protected with two coats of archival certified premium canvas varnish which will protect the image from fading. All images are captured using either a Canon 5D Mark IV or a Canon 5D Mark III Digital SLR.
Through my use of Photography, I strive to capture vignettes of our world as seen through the camera's lens. The medium of Photography has been a source of creative expression for me, and has given me a way to feel connected to the world. It also allows me to share my creative vision with others.
